As residents of the Vista Oaks neighborhood, we have the option to hire legal representation throughout the power lines project. For us to consider this, we are estimating the cost to be approximately $45,000 to hire an attorney along with expert witnesses to testify on our behalf.
We completely understand this is a lot of money for homeowners to raise. Vista Oaks has over 900 households the attorney would represent which half of the community would need to be willing to contribute $100. (450 x $100 = $45,000)
If you would be willing to make an initial pledge to pay for an attorney, please complete the form below. This does not obligate you to make a payment nor is this a binding contract. We only want to see what kind of feedback we receive from our neighbors before we discuss our case with an attorney.
If we receive little to no feedback or if the pledge total does not get us close, then we will continue as a community using our testimonies to fight this case.
If you have any questions, please complete the form below and add a message and we’ll respond as soon as possible.
We need your feedback by August 15
** We are not asking for payment information and submitting the form above will not obligate you to pay at this time. We are only gathering feedback whether we can consider legal representation for Vista Oaks as a viable option. **
This form is for Vista Oaks community residents only.
